Porridge can be easily cooked in a microwave if you use a large microwave proof bowl. When cooking in microwave, be aware that when porridge starts to boil it can very quickly boil over the bowl.
In a large bowl, add the oats, pour in the water and juice then put sliced banana and drizzle honey on the top. Microwave on high (800 W) for 2-2.5 minutes, stirring from time to time. If your porridge starts boiling over – reduce power to low and then keep on cooking for 2 more minutes. Stir the ready porridge and leave it to cool for a bit.
